It's no secret that I am obsessed with pink, and I dream of having a pink room in my house when I'm older. Of course, pink can run the risk of looking childish or too girly, so it's important to anchor it with neutrals, solids, and/or darker colors. Here are some rooms that I think did pink perfectly:

LOVE the pink in the kitchen at the top, and the stripes in that bathroom are so fun! I have all my pink (hopefully tastefully) in my guest room, but I will love the day when we move into our own house and I can start spreading it throughout the house! Hope you're having a good snow day!
ReplyDeleteI love the little touches of pink. The third from bottom is my favorite!

I agree. These rooms are done just right! One of my girls has a pink room full of hot pink ginghams and stripes mixed with lots of white. I love it in "grown-up' rooms too!
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of pink and yellow. The third picture with the pink & blue...AMAZING! Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy bedroom at my parents house is pink! They re-painted the entire house a few years ago but I stuck with my pink room. It's actually a pale pink ("lip gloss") so it doesn't look overly girly or childish at all. My bedspread and curtains are a dark green, the room has hardwood floors and the rest of the furniture is a dark wood. I think these elements bring it away from being childish.
Oooh I love pink...somehow I don't think Keith will ever let me use it though!

I love pink too! I pity my future husband-he will have to deal with a lot of pink decor!
ReplyDeletePink's not usually my favorite color, but these rooms are so beautifully feminine! When in doubt pink it out!
